ou must login before you can view the Alumni List.  To login, enter your username and password in the fields in the "Login - New User - Logout" module in the left-hand column.  If you don't have a username or password, you must register.  Click on th "Register" link in the same module to start the registration process.  If you can't remember your password, click on "Lost Password" and a password will be emailed to you.

Once you are logged in, a "Logged In Users Menu" will appear in the left-hand column.  Click on "AlumniList" and the Alumni List will appear.  You may scroll down to locate someone, or you may type a name or part of a name in the search field to limit the alumni displayed to those with the entered characters in their name or username.

The list may be sorted by decade at Fuller, by last year at Fuller,  by last name, by first name or by username.  The sort by name are arranged in ascending order, starting with "A" going up from there.  The sor by decade or year are arranged in descending order, with the most recent times listed first.  To change the sort method used, click on the downward pointing arrow at the right of the display of the sorting method in use.  Currently, the default sorting method is "Alumni List (by last year at Fuller, desc).  If an alum did not enter the last year they were at camp, they will appear at the bottom of the listing.  We are trying to have everyone complete their profile so the sorting will produce a useful listing.

If you locate an alum that interests you, you can click on their picture or name.  This will open their user profile, where there may be additional information.

Also in the user profile, there is an entry area for sending that person a message. In the Quick Message section (located in the right-hand column in the middle), enter a subject for your message and the message itself and click on "Send Message".  The component that sends the message is called "Missus".  The category of this component is "PMS", which is short for "Personal Messaging System".

Missus does not use email directly.  It is an internal messaging system, but it does send an email to the recepient informing them that there is a message waiting for them on the website.  If the alum you sent a message to wants to respond, they can send a return message using Missus.  At any point, either of you may include an email addresses in their message, allowing the exchange to continue via email, independent of the website.  You may, of course, continue to conduct you entire exchange via Missus.  This system seems a little round-about, but it designed this way to hide your email address from anyone you haven't specifically given it to.  We at fulleralumni.org make it a point to protect as much of your information as we can, while still listing just enough so others may know if you are the person they want to contact.
